Dairy Nutrition Consultant

Job #: 167342

Location: WI

A leading, growth-oriented feed manufacturer in eastern Wisconsin is hiring a Dairy Consultant to drive on-farm results through smart nutrition and relationship-based sales. This is a high-impact, boots-on-the-ground role where your expertise will directly improve producer profitability.

What You'll Do
This isn't a typical sales job. You'll be deeply embedded in your customers' success—working on farms several days a week, formulating rations, coaching dealer reps, and building long-term relationships. Your work will blend science, strategy, and service:

 – Formulate and optimize rations based on herd performance and farm goals
 – Support and coach dealer sales reps on value-based selling
 – Develop new accounts and lead engaging, educational producer meetings
 – Analyze dairy records and KPIs to drive efficiency and profitability

Whether you're a recent MS/PhD grad in dairy nutrition ready to launch your career or a seasoned consultant looking to join a progressive team, you'll find the support, tools, and growth potential to thrive here.

Why You'll Love It Here
 – Customer-first culture—the entire team is focused on producer success
 – Impact: Make a difference where it matters-on the farm, with large producers

 – Tools and support to do your job the right way
 – Collaborative approach—you're not out there alone
 – Highly competitive salary, bonus potential, and exceptional benefits
 – Open due to growth—you're stepping into a successful, expanding market
 – Reputation: This company is trusted, respected, and known for delivering quality
 – Stability & Growth: Decades of success and still expanding throughout the upper mid west
 – Team Strength: Talented, experienced consultants already in place
 – Compensation: Competitive salary, performance bonus, and outstanding benefits

What You Bring
 – BS in Dairy or Animal Science (MS/PhD preferred)
 – Proven ability to formulate rations and optimize cow performance
 – Strong understanding of dairy records and ability to interpret data
 – Sales orientation with a value-first mindset, not a pushy pitch
 – Excellent communication skills, both one-on-one and in presentations
 – Comfortable working as part of a team and engaging both technical and non-technical audiences

This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a real difference on large farms—with the backing of a company that's invested in your success.
