Summary:
 
You will be the leader of teams in a feed milling & grain operations environment overseeing the operations of: 
  • production
  • warehousing
  • transportation
  • ingredient purchasing 
  • customer service 
  • budgeting 
  • staffing
The role you will play: 
  • Supervise the daily operations of teams in production, receiving, shipping, quality, customer service and inventory accuracy
  • Lead customer service activities to strengthen relationships 
  • Grow our sales volume (tonnage) and improve profitability
  • Coordinate all safety initiatives: training, inspections and accident investigations
  • Maintain adequate, cost-effective inventory and accurate POs of key inputs: ingredients, packaging and supplies
  • Facility coordinator of Safe Feed / Safe Food Audits 
  • Organize all maintenance and housekeeping
  • Manage employees including hiring, performance evaluations and coaching
  • Motivate the employees to meet performance expectations   
  • Partner with senior leadership on annual budgeting, capital projects and large purchases
