Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with farmers, becoming a trusted advisor for their operations.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Develop and implement SOPs to guarantee profitability and high-quality care for clients.
  • Disease Management: Identify the root causes of diseases, accurately diagnose, and treat pigs for better health.
  • Treatment Planning: Determine the most effective treatment options, working with clients to design optimal treatment plans.
  • Health Program Management: Design, implement, and oversee health programs, including biosecurity, surveillance, vaccination, and medication.
  • Troubleshooting: Support farmers by troubleshooting daily animal health challenges.
  • Ethical Veterinary Practice: Apply a scientific approach grounded in ethical principles that align with our client's core values.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or a bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: Prior experience in the veterinary field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Skills and Abilities:Communication and Conflict Resolution: Strong interpersonal, communication, conflict resolution, and presentation skills. Collaboration: Ability to develop strong working relationships with staff across different locations.
