Dairy Nutrition Consultant

Job #: 167343

Location: IA

WANTED: Dairy Consultant

Profitability Through Expertise. Service. Solutions. In That Order.

Join a respected, growth-oriented company with decades of success in the Upper Midwest. We're looking for a Farm Consultant to serve dairy and goat producers in Northeast Iowa, helping them boost efficiency and profitability through a combination of trusted advice, quality products, and team-based support.

What You'll Do

You'll be the go-to advisor for producers—not just a product rep. Your job is to understand each farm's unique challenges and provide solutions that move the needle. Sometimes that's a simple tweak. Sometimes it's bringing in a company expert. Sometimes it's simply listening and responding with care. Your goal: improve your customers' bottom line, one farm at a time.

Thanks to robust training and mentoring, you'll build on your core strengths and grow into a well-rounded consultant. This is a role for someone who values relationships, thrives in the field, and takes pride in solving real-world problems.

What We're Looking For
Your background might be in ruminant nutrition, agronomy, or genetics. More important is who you are:
 – Integrity. Empathy. Curiosity. Drive.
 – Ability to self-manage and work within a team-based structure
 – A genuine understanding of dairy production and how farms work
 – Strong communication and sales abilities—especially relationship-building
 – A BS degree in a relevant field
 – Willingness to travel locally, with occasional overnights

Why You'll Love This Job
 – Customer-first culture — everything we do starts with the producer
 – Real impact — help farms thrive and grow
 – You're not alone — work as part of a collaborative team
 – Training & mentoring to help you succeed and grow
 – Strong compensation — competitive salary, bonus potential, and excellent benefits
 – Open due to growth — our expansion is built on decades of consistent success
 – Reputation — producers trust us, and for good reason

This is more than a job—it's a mission to make a difference in the lives of the producers who feed the world. Ready to join the team?
