Dan Simmons, CPC

Dan Simmons began his recruiting career in 1991 and founded Continental Search in 1996. In 2002, he shifted the firm’s focus to the animal sciences.

Under his leadership, the firm has flourished, with experts specializing in Feed Additives, Animal Health, Pork and Egg Production, and Feed Manufacturing.

Each team is led by a Certified Personnel Consultant, an expert in their field. Today, Dan focuses on recruiting in animal health and nutrition, from solo contributors to the executive level.

Dan is deeply committed to advancing careers in the animal sciences. He has delivered speaking engagements at prestigious institutions such as the University of Delaware, the University of Maryland, Virginia Tech, and Penn State University. He has also given keynote speeches at events like The Northeast Collegiate Dairy Challenge and participated in engagements with ARPAS, ADSA, ASAS, AMSA, and the Kalmbach AgriBusiness Conference.

In addition, Dan has been a featured speaker at multiple recruiting industry events for Top Echelon Network and Sanford Rose Network.

In 2024, Dan was inducted into the Top Echelon Network Hall of Fame, America’s leading recruiter network. He is a Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) through the National Association of Personnel Services.

Dan resides near Bethany Beach, Delaware. In his free time, he enjoys playing the piano, reading on the beach, and traveling.
