THE JOB

Product Development  (50%)
 – Conduct market & competitor research to give customer insights
 – Develop new products that align with market opportunities
 – Interpret and summarize research to develop products
 – Design trials & develop relationships w/research facilities & industry leaders
 – Collaborating with stakeholders in sales/tech & procurement

Technical Support (25%)
 – Assess diets and monitor feed formulations
 – Tech support and R&D of non-core business
 – Customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues
 – Quality control and regulatory compliance

Sales Support (25%)
 – Supporting key customer relationships
 – Preparing for/going to/following up on trade shows

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY, CANDIDATES MUST
 – Possess an advanced degree in ruminant or dairy nutrition
 – Live in the Upper Midwest
 – Have experience and success developing new products in ruminant nutrition or health
 – Have developed a commercially successful product(s) from concept to significant revenue
 – Be willing to work with products for calves, heifers, and lactating cows
 – Have experience working with outside/academic research facilities
 – Be comfortable working with industry leaders, sales professionals, and customers
 – Be a team-oriented problem-solver with excellent time management skills
