Identify new business opportunities for new products, re-launches and propose plans
Leverage data/insight to convert opportunities into private label & branded business
Act as a portfolio expert; work with sales, marketing & other cross-functional groups
Lead and manage cross-functional project teams
Drive profitability by enhancing total customer value
Establish/negotiate long-term manufacturing contracts.
Maximize manufacturing efficiencies
Travel: 50% at most (trade shows, customer visits, etc.)

To be seriously considered for this role, successful candidates will have:
B.S. in an applicable field of study (Animal Science, Agribusiness, Marketing, etc.)
At least 3 YEARS of success selling animal feed products in the northeast or mid-west, preferably bagged products.
Independent thinker with strong analytical & financial acumen (P&L, prospecting, etc.)
Dynamic communication skills and ability to create inspiring propositions/propositions
Solid project management skills and ability to multitask multiple projects
Ability to lead customer-innovation project teams to deliver agreed metrics
