A PigCareers.com and Continental Search Collaboration: Salary Survey

Pig Careers is partnering with Continental Search, a leading recruitment firm in animal health, nutrition, and production, to conduct a comprehensive salary survey on swine live production. Swineweb.com is sponsoring and promoting this industry service.

The Swine Live Production Salary Survey will provide detailed data regarding the current salary trends based on location and skill for Swine Veterinarians, Nutritionists, VP/Directors of Live Production, Multi-Site Managers, Farm Managers, Department Managers, Geneticists/Researchers, EHS/QA, Technicians, and other swine live production professionals across the USA and Canada.

All swine live production professionals in the US and Canada are encouraged to participate in the survey. The survey will run in early March, and results will be released in April. Those who provide their email address can request a copy of the results earlier than the release date.

“We’re excited to add this Live Production Management survey to our list of salary surveys for the animal sciences. It will provide managers the data to negotiate competitive wages and employers the knowledge to see what their competitors pay,” said Continental Search President Daniel Simmons. Simmons and Sophi Fairman, Manager of PigCareers, will work closely on this project.

“We’re always looking for ways to provide more value to the industry, and partnering with Continental Search made this vision possible,” said Sophi Fairman.

Swineweb.com is the leading voice for the swine industry in the US and Canada, and is the ideal sponsor and media partner for this project,” says Simmons, “they have the largest reach in the market.”

PigCareers.com and Continental Search share many commitments. Both help employers find talent for their operations, they aim to deliver helpful content and solutions to professionals in the industry, and they are committed to helping pork producers, and affiliated businesses thrive. Through this partnership, they intend to reach a larger audience and provide them with valuable data that may assist them in making career and hiring decisions.
