USPOULTRY Approves 7 New Research Grants
Research is an integral part of any industry, especially animal nutrition. New developments can help the industry evolve to better serve consumers. The Poultry Site just released an article that talks about how USPOULTRY and the USPOULTRY Foundation approved seven new research grants at five institutions. The total amount allocated is $355,000.
Selection is done based on the approval of the board of directors of both organizations. These are based on recommendations given by the Foundation Research Advisory Committee. This organization evaluates proposals to determine if they are valuable to the poultry industry.
USPOULTRY and its Foundation have reinvested more than $30 million. The primary source of funds come from the International Poultry Expo and part of the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE). You can view the full article with the list of approved grants here.
